If part of your probation is that you are not allowed to get a drivers license, that means that you are not allowed to drive! If you decide to not follow the rules that have been set, you are in violation of your probation and can and should be jailed!!
You obviously did something that caused you to be convicted and part of your punishment is the loss of driving privileges.

Go to your state's web site and look for the Department of Motor Vehicles (or whatever you state may call it) site to learn exactly what the rules are. If you have a restriction, then you should have something in writing, but sometimes there may be exceptions. Also you may want to contact your attourney and/or probation officer.

They will impound the car and you will go to jail. And hope that you are not in violation of parole for any reason. Cause then you really have no chance of getting back out anytime soon. They are getting more and more strict on that stuff every day..

Yep, BOTH! They will site you with a ticket that will further delay getting your license, they CAN throw you in jail, they CAN take away your vehicle (seize), they can site you a very large fine for no insurance (its a big one). All this could take years to clear up. Don't drive until you get your license.

Your best bet would be have a hearing before the judge and request ruling to allow you to get a licence on grounds that you need to drive to work. It may take time but it is the only legal route you have at this point if you "need" to drive.
