To the post above: That is not possible because they partially or totally remove the clitoris!!!

Below is a great link to an organization I belong to called "Equality Now". It has all the info you need to know. Recently, in the news, a man in the southern USA was arrested for circumcising his 2 year old daughter. He is from Africa where it is common procedure.
"The cutting, which is generally done without anesthetic, may have lifelong health consequences including chronic infection, severe pain during urination, menstruation, sexual intercourse, and childbirth, and psychological trauma. Some girls die from the cutting, usually as a result of bleeding or infection. "

There is a site sexylabia.com if you get past all the pictures which aren't in good taste there is a picture of a woman who has been circumcised. It is where the labia and other folds are removed with scissors, broken pieces of glass and tin can lids, it is done without any numbing, the clitoris is also removed. It is done to make the area look nicer to a man, it is done to remove all sexual pleasure and to make the wife faithfull. It is barbaric!! Sometimes the outer lips are scrapped and sewn together making an opening about the size of a match stick for urine and menstrual blood to leave. Go to Female circumcision or FGM female genital mutilation on the web for more information. These women suffer greatly from pain and infection and the scaring doesn't stretch so in childbirth these scars break open requiring hundreds of stitches. This must be banned and every woman should sign the petitions against such violence against women!!!

Sure dear and it should actually be called female genital mutilation. The clitoris and sometimes parts of the labia minora are cut off. It was (and in some places still is) believed to stop the girl from being promiscuous. Since she would never attain orgasm, intercourse would only be for the sole purpose of conceiving and never for pleasure.
It is fraught with a lot of short term and long term side effects. The site could become infected, worse, the female genitalia loses its elasticity and results in life threatening laceration during childbirth.
There is a lot of campaign and laws against it now and hopefully it will soon become an extinct practice.

I heard about this on the news the other day, so I wanted to know more about it. Apparently, it's part of the culture there. It's done so that the girl grows up to be sexually insatiable so that who ever marries her will have a life time of great sex and the woman will never stop wanting it. She will apparently never have a way to satisfy herself. I bet it doesn't work, knowing what I know about girls now... hahaha i feel sorry for those girls though.

About your man question.... sorry I couldn't resist! I was told the same thing about the perfect girl. But hey, why settle for half of what you want? I found the perfect girl once... apparently you're right though, I'm an a$$hole and couldn't hold on to her. Oh well. So I've settled for less now, and it's sort of made me bitter... my girlfriend is an idiot. but we have fun together and she's really into me so, i don't want to relinquish something that's primadonna and 100% sure to go for something that's great but unsure.

Having tasted the best wine, all the others taste bad, so now i'm mad. That wasn't supposed to rhyme. What can I say I'm a natural... er... whatever.

It's kinda fun being an a$$h0le to tell you the truth...

It is still practiced in some areas of Africa. No, it should not be called "female circumcision". Many young girls die from blood loss or infection. It is mutilation of the genitals. The reason why it was/is practiced is to prevent women from having any sexual feelings at all, so they will not stray from their husbands.
here is a news reference to it.

This is not at all needed (as far as i know) and done only for traditional purpose. This is possibly practiced in some parts of Egypt although it is illegal there. This is not only unnecessary but also risky for the female child and her future sexual needs. Can anyone put some more light on this matter?

Of course there is something called "female circumcision". This is a simple surgical procedure to remove the tissue "hood" covering the clitoris. It allows exposure of the clitoris and adds a large amount of increased clitoral stimulation to take place. I guess it would be considered "painful", just like almost any surgery to a sensitive area. However, the benefits for someone requiring the procedure are probably worth the temporary pain. Instead of EEEEEEWWWWWW!!!, you'll probably end up glassy eyed and happy happy happy!

They practice this in some African villages/ tribes. Its horrible. They take a sharp stone or razor and cut of the clit & anything extra. This is just something that they believe in doing because the feel that it is sinful for a woman to have pleasure down there. What the ****?!?!?!

Female genital cutting (FGC) refers to amputation of any part of the female genitalia for cultural rather than medical reasons. The term almost always excludes gender reassignment surgery, which is usually done for personal rather than cultural reasons, or genital modification of intersexuals

I have indeed heard and read of this sick practise of baby girls and young girls getting butchered by people in their 3rd world sick culture and religous nutbars. They do this so when the girls marry will never acheive organism, never to want to leave there cause they do not no what they are missing. It is a sick world we live in.
