That isn't reason enough to forgive him. And, frankly, I don't know one person on this earth who hasn't said that to get out of being in trouble for cheating. So typical a line!

You deserve a better person... I won't say that once a cheat always a cheat, but forgive the first time.. leave if it happens again... more than likely it will happen again. Sorry.

A leopard never changes its spots and a cheater will not change either...if he did it once, he will do it again and again. If he didnt mean to hurt you he wouldnt have done it in the first place...move on and forget about him...there is someone out there for you that will be faithful.

You don't accidentally cheat on someone...saying something like that is a red flag right there. Once a cheater, always a cheater; there are much better guys out there for you.

If your bf cheats . then the only thing you can do is to be guarded you have to trust your heart , I have always been told to give a second chance, and it also depends on how much you trust them and how serious it is if it is a real serious relationship give him a 2nd chance just guard yer heart dont let him push you arround to believe its a mistake give the second chance then if he proves himself great if you catch him cheating a 2nd time then throw his butt to the curb cause then you know he will never change

NO! Once a cheater always a cheater. If they get away with it, and you forgiving him means he gets away with it, than he'll know in the future that he can always get away with it. Drop him.
