Why is it socially and politically acceptable to ridicule white people from the rural south. by referring to them as "rednecks", Hicks, trailer park thrash and otherwise use derogatory references?
Does that not reflect your own biases and stereotypes? Do you all understand the term "Double Standard"?
Suppose I made jokes about Native Americans, or Afro Americans or Gays? You all would be on me like a Chicken on a June Bug.
Next time I see a dem/lib post a "Redneck" joke on this site I think I will post a "N" word joke and see how long it takes to get a violation

Still so are "N" word jokes, Indian Jokes, and Gay Jokes. May I post some of them for your laughter?

Altz I think you are agreeing therei is a double standard. This IS the "Joke" section and I was just ribbing the dems/libs with the thought of putting a "N" word joke on here. And please note I did acknowledge it would get violated so I had no intent to ever do that. Thanks for your comments

I agree. I'm a liberal from the South and we generally don't make stupid east coast liberal Hollywood worshipping clam chowder swilling voted for Ted Kennedy jokes.
Southern liberals are just sweet as pie!

First of all I do understand why you are upset because if you post a "N" word joke on here... I will be made and I will report you. Why? Because the N word is a really racist remark and you are doing it out of spite... had you have said a black joke that would have been diff. And 2... the "N" word joke would only reflect on black people and not any other race... majority of the redneck jokes come from WHITE people. So the best route for you would be to report them... Don't take you frusteration out on black people. This is the joke section so you shouldn't come here if you aren't prepared or don't read jokes titled Redneck.
Plus you shouldn't be offended by a joke that doesn't protain to you. I don't get offended when people make jokes about black people... unless it fits me to a tee.
Now.... back to jokes

i feel if people can dish out a joke about another race/stereotype etc they should be able to take it as well or they shouldnt be posting those in the first place. So i understand your fustration but i find all types of jokes funny and be damn sure that if i read a redneck joke that was funny i would laugh just like if i read a joke about italians that was funny i would laugh (im italian) but some people act like babies even though they are supposed to be grown adults i would just ignore them

First off, this country wasn't founded on the "freedom to compete and make money"....it was founded as a Democratic society with a Constitutional Freedom for everyone..... Nobody wants to unfairly tax the wealthy or corporations... What we want is for EVERYONE including the rich and corporations to pay their fair share. They have many benefits and write-offs that are not available to the average citizen. The bloke making $30,000 a year pays MORE of his income in taxes than do those who have tax shelters and other ways of hiding their money. As for companies fleeing to other nations, have you looked around lately? They already have fled. We would like them to have to pay for that. Stop with the tax credits for opening up in Mexico.... Impose import taxes on the products made there - or in other places around the world. All other countries must pay an import tax; why not American corporations? We are being jerked around by the unfairness in the tax laws. Personally, I'd prefer to see a flat tax.....with NO exemptions under any circumstances. Sure would help pay down our national debt. I don't care if an executive makes 50 million or 50 billion a year.....but he/she needs to pay an equivalent tax -- just like you and me do....and not have the advantage of finding loopholes in the tax law that get him exempted.

ok i undersyand your fustration and everything. and i hate when people do that also, but that is no way to get your point across. you dont post "the N Word" on here and nobody should put other things on here. but just because they did that doesnt mean you have to do the same to retaliate. remember two wrong dont make a right.and these jokes cant hurt you. if these statements and jokes arent true then you have no reason to get mad.

You guys do get a bad deal...but you're going to have to blame Jeff Foxworthy for that one! But for us here in the West, we see that every time a natural disaster hits- the news ALWAYS shows some uneducated and moronic imbecile! Don't worry though- we even have hill people and hicks in CA! But doesn't "trailer park thrash" sound cool? (LOL)

Seriously, if you dont like the 'redneck' jokes, dont read the joke sections. they are jokes, something that is supposed to make you laugh, you arent supposed to take them seriously. Get a life. If there was nobody to joke about, then there would be no funny jokes. i wish i knew a really offensive red neck joke just to made you mad.
