Wow that stinks! First of all if you're going on vacation a spray tan will make you look tanner, but it will not prevent you from burning. Yes, you look darker; but you're still going to burn. You should have did some tanning 2-3 weeks or more depending in your skin type before your vacation. If you use a base bed with a higher UVB you will produce new melanin so it prevents you from burning in the sun. Ok so know that you know that I will tell you what you can to fix your spray tan.
Did you use the Mystic Tan, Hollywood Tan, or airbrush tan? If you used the Mystic Tan they actually sell a self tan remover at the salon where you had the tan done. But if you don't feel like using that you can make your own scrub. Take sugar and baby oil mix together and take a loafah and scrub until it is all gone. It works very well. Make sure to keep you skin hydrated with lots of moisturizer and by drinking water. Hope this works for you.

I'd go to a tanning salon. Don't go for too long on the first day. Go every day that you can. It should fade soon enough, so you'll have a good tan. The tanning will change the tone of the orange. I am pretty sure this will work!! Or wear clothes that cover up until it fades!

Take a shower, scrub your skin, then the next day go to a tanning booth without sunscreen for the 20 min maximum...you will be a bit burned, but not be orange!

If you go to somewhere like Boots you can buy a fake tan remover - I know that St Tropez do one.
if you need to tone it down, get a coarse body scrub and that should help quite a bit

If you can, go to a place that has the Mystic spray on tan. They give you a special cream to rub on your hands, feet, and elbows. This will keep those areas from getting colored and it will even out your blotches. If you have stains on your hands, use Lava soap to get them off.

Take a hot shower and exfoliate the orange places, that's about all you can do.
