of falling pregnant after having a depo shot? only had 1 shot, which is running out about now. was aware that weight gain may happen, but have just recently gained around 7Ibs am soooo tired (even when getting 9hrs sleep) stomach constantly churning and moaning for food. Got a kinda cold, and keep feeling nauseous. had shot on 2nd day of peiod and was told that would cover pregnancy instantly, so didnt use extra pre caution. what do you think?

I wouldn't worry to much about it then. You could easily have flu or some sort of virus right now witht he weather changes and all. Depo can cause rapid weight gain like that and make you sleepy and hungry.
I've known one person who conceived whilst on depo and she also got preggers on the pill so I think she was just one in a whole bunch.
If you are concerned about it go see the doc and have a blood test done.

There are so many side effects from the depo shot, it's hard to list them all. I think you are suffering with some side effects and you really have nothing to worry about.

I found the injection did similar things to me, I put on about a stone, was tired constantly and also turned into the ***** from hell. I would say it is probably the side affects rather than pregnancy x

when i was on depo i had more side effects that when i was pregnant barring the weight gain and the baby kicking! it literally sent me schizo so i wouldn't worry about being pregnant, besides depo would cause you to have a miscarriage anyway.

I had these symptoms from depo shot, the weight gain was unbealivable! Hopefully this is all it is down too, would take atest though if your still worried.

If your realy worried that you may be pregnant then ask your GP for a prgnancy test.
But it is doutful that you are pregnant with the depo...

chances are slim but then i fell pregnant on the injection
