Why would a guy want to give that up?? even in a good, heathly, sexual relationship, there have been studies saying the masterbating is still healthy, for men and woman...
so why would a guy want to give up something that he enjoy's, and is healthy for him??

find yourself a woman so then u wont need to masterbate and u can just have fun with her instead of your hand. and yes it is awful and disgusting so i think it would be a good thing that u give it up.
