If the child is born in Canada, they are Canadian. Does not matter where the parents are from. The child is not caribbean just because you are. My husband is Haitian, but since my daughter was born in America she is American, or rather Haitian-American. But she cannot be considered Haitian.

yes once your child born there he or she will be a canadian citizen but like where i am from here in grenada that child will also have the right to live here and go and come as often as he or she like because the parent is from this country and that is kool too

it would be a caribbean citizan(because of the parents citizan ship) and canadian(because that is where the baby is born)
