Sure can, I did and it worked out great. You will find that you can learn much more about someone than you would ever find out face in face in so short a period of time. Take your time and don't rush things. Talk for as long as practical prior to meeting. Make it clear up front that absolute honestly is essential. (This includes honesty on your part too.) Make the first meeting in a public place with a prior agreement that it just be for a short period such as for lunch. Then if you both want to pursue the matter go for it and good luck.

I know some people that has actually found someone and got married or dated long term...I have a feeling in a few more years internet dating will be something more open....For now its a big NO...NO...for some its a embarrassment...Though for me...Heck I am up for anything...Good Luck on your search...

Yes but usually the free sites are crap. Pay sites like true.com usually work I got a free membership for a couple of days and got like 10 emails in 2 days before I delete my account cause I didnt want to pay for it.

well you can meet someone on the net , I would hold back on the love thing till you meet in person , I figure whats the difference if you meet someone at the mall or on the net at first , get acquainted on the net then meet and who knows ...

yes u can i met someone before we dated for a while but i was scared so we left it as friends @ times i wish i did get scared but now i found someone and everything has been wonderful
