It was recommended by a doctor for a very overweight person and they lost a lot of weight. It is suppose to keep your matabolism up. I can find no information about it. Has anyone heard of it?

YE THE 6 MEAL DIET! BUT YOU NOT SUPPOSE TO EATLIKE A HALF OF HOT DOG AND SOME FRIES!!

ITS SUPPOSE TO BE HEALTHY STUFF!

IT SPEEDS UP YOUR METABOLISM BECUZ URE CONSTANTLY EATING!

AND WEN URE USE TO EATING LIK THAT WITH SMALL MEALS,WEN U HAV A BIG MEAL U WILL GET FULL QUICKLY!

I don't think you can eat one and a half cups of anything and lose weight. Yes it is important to eat six or so times a day every two to three hours to keep your metabolism runnin high but you also have to keep your calorie count low. You only lose weight if you burn more caloires than you consume.

On this diet I could have burgers and fries, chips, Chinese food, ice cream, etc. six times a day. While your quantaties of these foods may be less than what you would normallyeat it still isn't healthy and you would still be consuming a ton of calories. This diet is a bad one if you ask me.

No, I haven't, but don't believe in every thing you hear.
The more easy it seems...the worst it would be!
