I always cook my pulled pork (shoulder cut) in the crockpot.... I use a fifty fifty mix of BBQ and water, until it nearly covers the meat. (usually about one large bottle of sauce)

Cook on high for about 8 hours.(I think it would be the same for a beef brisket, but you may want to play with the cook time.)

Drain all the liquid before shredding the meat. Serve as is or put it on bulkie rolls. You can add sauce to taste afterward. I use Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce.... so yummy!

Start out with a little bit. You can always add more later. I usually end up putting the whole bottle of bbq sauce. I love bbq suace!
