It's hard to say, since we don't know what you've doing to try to get rid of them.
To keep your face clear of black or whiteheads you need to do the following.
1. Go to the drug store and buy either Cetaphil or Purpose cleanser.
2. Do not use toner. It will over dry your face, and when your face is overdried, your oil glands try to overcompensate for the dryness. When the glands or trapped with bacteria-more pimples.
3. Use a mosterizer that includes either alpha hydroxy acid or salicylic acid, that is non-comedigenic (won't clog pores), and oil free. Clean and Clear and Neutrogena make these products.
4. Follow up with Glycolic Acid treatments twice a year from a dermitologist (not a facialist, the percentage on their treatments aren't high enough).
5. Stay out of the sun! If you have to be in the sun for short periods of time, buy a non-comedigenic sunscreen. Try Neutrogena or talk to your dermotologist.
6. Studies show that too much milk products can effect your hormonal system and cause acne.
7. You may not have acne, it could be rosacea, it looks like acne, but never forms blackheads or whiteheads. You can get an oral or topical solution for that from your doctor.
8. Drink plenty of water.
9. Don't touch of pick at your face.
10. Use Benzoil Peroxide 10% solution, but just on your pimples-not on the rest of your skin, it will dry it out turn red.
11. Your doctor can give you a cortisone shot for the big giant pimples that come up. This is handy right before an important picture is taken, wedding, special day, etc. It takes about a day for it to go down.
For heavier cases:
Talk to your dermotologist about Forte MD, it's a glycolic acid skin care that is used in stages. Each stage increases the level of glycolic acid. It burns a little, but your face feels dewy and glows after just a couple of weeks. It's only available from dermotologist.

Blackheads is from oil in your skin rising to surface and when it meets with air it turns black they are right pain if dont get rid of them they turn into spots which is even worse. I would try holding your face over a bowl or sink of hot water with a towel over your head for till face face is all sweaty and hot then I would say squeeze them very gently, then when you have finished splash your face with lots of cold water to close your pores up again. If you squeeze them once and they come out leave them and try another time you don't want to scar your skin.
If you keep getting them your skin might be producing to much oil there are moisturisers that can sort that out for you.

we must get to the route cause before we cover the solution. do you eat lots of fatty foods. IE. McDonald's, KFC, fried chips to name a few. if so then you are taking in to much oil and your body needs to release it.
Secondly, look at where you love and work/study, is it a dry environment or a damp place. Do you sweat a lot
If so then all you need to do is cut down on these factors.
Buy a facial steamer and try running for 15 minutes a day. always carry a WHITE towel with you to wipe your face.
If this does NOT work then go to your GP and ask for amoxocylin. this is an antibiotic but it also helps with ACNE.
Hope this helps

Use a skincare tool - Tweezerman and Japonesque both make one. It has two loops on either end. One is for whiteheads and the other is blackheads. You just press the tool against the area and it will make the yucky stuff pop out. After that, I'd use witch hazel or another astringent on the area to dry it up.

Drinking plenty of water and steaming your face once a week would help. Don't use any facial strips or any type of skincare brand. They are full of chemicals and soap. Use natural things. Yogurt is a good one for spots. Put yogurt on the affected area and leave for 15 minutes. Rinse off with warm water.

Steam your face to open pores , squeeze the little bliters out, wash your face with a black head remover or gentle soap as some can make the problem worse then splash cold water on your face to close pores again

If you've tried over the counter preparations go to your GP and they can give you something stronger. If you still are having problems after that go back to your GP and they should refer you to a dermatologist at your local hospital who will be able to help.
It's all because of your hormones so continually squeezing (although satisfying!!) can damage your skin and won't do any good in the long run.
My son is currently undergoing treatment from our local hospital for his skin and is seeing improvements.
Good luck x

You need to cleanse your face properly. Try the Liz Earle range on QVC website, cleanse and polish and the exfoliator will be good to start with. They dont have any chemicals are kind to your skin, cheap but excellent.

blackheads do not go away. if left alone they can become infected. soak a face towel in hot water, wring it out and place it against your face and hold it there . Then the blackheads will be easier to get out.THEN WASH YOUR FACE PROPERLY from now on.
