we recently got a digital electric meter, our electric bill is over 700 a month, we have a small house and the meter has been checked twice. We put in new windows, new doors and new insulation, helped a little, but the electric is so high. I was told there was something you could put on the meter that tricks it to slow down.

Get a small meter to measure consumption of small appliances within your house. By knowing where your electrical use is highest you will know where to target for greatest savings.

there are things you can do but as everyone else has already said it illegal so I'm not going to tell you. If you're consuming too much power check your appliances. Older appliances have a tendency to consume more electricity than newer ones. Or you could stop growing pot in your basement.

Utility fraud is a felony in many places. So either pay the bills or just sign up for the free electricity program at your local prison.
