The capital of Palau is Koror, which is located at 7.35 degrees N and 134.50 degrees E. The opposite of that is 7.35 degrees S and 45.50 degrees W.

That puts you in Northeastern Brazil, in the state of Maranhão, about 20 miles northwest of the town of Ribeiro Gonçalves.

Not much there, and the snorkeling in inland Brazil is terribly. I'd stay in Palau.
