I don't have a magic answer. I have very high arches and sometimes, but only sometimes, when I point my toes I get a horrible cramp in my arch. You should probably see a doctor.

You need to take potassium tablets. Eat bananas, tomatoes, oranges. Anything with potassium in it.
Potassium shortage causes muscle spasms anywhere in your muscles. But I also get them in the bottom of my feet at night. BOY IS IT REALLY UNCOMFORTABLE.
It's not particularly the weight, mostly your diet. Take a high quality multivitamin to keep your level of vitamins and minerals up.
If you drop some weight you will feel a lot better once you get back to dancing and tumbling.

Your weight may have a little to do with it...putting extra pressure on your feet. But you could also have a potassium deficiency. When I was pregnant, I had a potassium deficiency and I would get awful cramps in my legs and feet.

it is genuinely customary, maximum persons get a definite sensation of their feet while pointing their feet in that place..in case you visit an Osteopath or Physiotheropist they ought to have the potential that may assist you with some excersizes which will quickly kill the soreness. solid luck with the gymnastics!

I've been there.
Point the feet and just touch the surface with a toe and instant cramps.
Sorry that I can't help, but I'm watching if anyone can answer.
It would help me too.

Check with an orhopedic and let them do some xrays. It's safer going this route first than to go back into dancing and gymnastics and possibly injure yourself worse.

I think you need some good exercises to stretch the muscles in the back of your legs.
