Being impacted after childbirth, episiotomy and tearing. I almost ripped the stitches. I was in so much pain that I started to physically shake and went into shock.

That was worse than the pain of childbirth.

I had Good drugs for child birth and didn't feel much of anything.
When I experienced Frozen Shoulder, actually the physical therapist breaking it free, was enough pain that I wouldn't wish it on a hated enemy.
Just to give an idea of what it's like;
If you lay on the floor, you should be able to put the back of your hand on the floor by your head without effort or thought.
I could raise mine about three inches above my belly and that was it.
Now, imagine having some one FORCE your hand toward the floor by your head. He literally, cranked on my arm to get the shoulder to allow the movement. One hand was on my upper arm to keep it still, while the other was pulling/pushing back on my wrist and making the shoulder move. And some times, to free it up even faster, he'd have some one hold down the uninjured side while he cranked on the injured side.
It took 3 months of 'intensive' therapy to break it free. I couldn't take all of the pain med that the doc told me to, so I 'could endure' the therapy and had to suffer with most of it.
Or, better yet. You know how your elbow feels when you've slept long hours with it hanging over the bed side? How it hurts to move it? Multiply that by about twenty and you'll match the pain of the 'intense' therapy I went through.

For me it was the same. I have 4 children.... 3 c-sections and a normal birth. I would rather have a c-section though over a normal birth anyday. Pain is a bit more but I found I was up alot faster..

Amen sister, me too! My babies were 9lbs 10oz (first) and 10lbs 10oz (second). No time for pain meds with the second one, even with the episiotomy!!!
