Talking to my boyfriend (who is 50 yrs old & I am 45) about our new relationship he asked me "Why me?" How should I answer that?

A lot of men want to know why because of many different reasons. I can not answer for your man but sometimes men want to know what you find attractive about them. Physically, mentally, and other ways I'm sure you can figure out. It can probably be the male ego. Sure i like to hear why people like me because who doesn't like to hear good things about themselves. Maybe he just wants to relive the moment when you first met and it makes him feel good. Also it could mean that he feels that he doesn't deserve you. Maybe he feels that he has never been with someone who has treated him like you do. Or maybe he thinks you are using him for one reason or another. He could be the mistrusting type. Whatever the reasons I am sure you can figure out what type of person he is and make up your own mind. Whether he wants his ego stroked or he honestly wants to know why or because he wants to relive the moment or because of distrust, all that matters is how you want to answer him. Good luck!

He shouldn't have asked you that question. Guys should never do this one no matter how confused they are about being chosen. The answers might not really be let out as words or actions but through the way the lady stares at them (I'm talking about eye-contact and optic conversation).

Part 1 - He has asked because he doe not have confidence
Part 2 - Apparently there is good reason he lacks confidence. If you knew why you chose him, you would know how to answer

To know why you chose him. He wants to know what made him so special to you. How you feel about him and if you chose him for the right reasons.

Sounds like his self-esteem needs some stroking... He wants to know what qualities attracted you to him. Tell him. A little positive reinforcement never hurt anyone...

because he's the best. all guys or most need reassurance in some way. i like to hear certain things and this also can help him improve some maybe or show you his stronger qualitys

I think that he may want to know what qualities you find attractive. Tell him exactly what it is that made you want to be in a relationship with him.

Maybe he feels a bit insecure about you! Or perhaps he feels a little bit inferior and needs you to tell him that he is wrong and that you love him and that he is SUPER!!!

tell him...it could be a self esteem builder for him....help him see what is special about himself
