Brown sauce, tomato ketchup or curry sauce. Depends on the mood I am in. Sometimes just vinegar, salt and pepper is great.

In the USA, "chips" are either potato chips, nacho chips or corn chips. This is funny, I think YOU meant "chips" as what we call French Fries or fried potatoes.
So some of your answers here are for French Fries and some are from the USA are for snack chips. And "brown sauce" meaning Gravy? I just had to comment how cute the answers are...and how we differ from country to country.

I do not put sauce on chips, unless it happens to be Tortilla. In which case, I would use salsa. On second thought, if you are referring to french fries, I use ketchup.

I usually have gravey but if thats available I have chips with grated cheese and prawn sauce or Marie Rose sauce whatever you like to call it, sounds weird but its really nice honest.
