I am in Canada , so I don't know if you have this or not. It is called littlest pet shop. It is figurines and houses etc. Very popular here with girls of ages 4-10. Good luck, I am sure she will love anything you get her, because it is from Daddy. Remember that no one can ever break the bond between father and daughter. Just always let her know that you still care no matter how little you see each other! All the best to you.

In my opinion, the best presents in the world are things you can't unwrap. I can remember my dad taking me to the zoo for my fifth birthday and it was better than any present I got. If you're worried about her mum not letting you see her, maybe you could buy her an art kit - kids love anything messy!
Children really do appreciate time spent with them, not just being given something to keep them amused for a while then get bored of. You know that at the end of the day, kids will cherish their memories of the time you spend together, and you will too.

Hope that helps!

Why not buy her something that she can keep, like a piece of jewellery engraved, love daddy xx, or something like that. Look up on Search Web, personalised gifts, I'm sure you will find something nice for her to keep. That way when she is older, she will know that you were thinking of her and that you loved her, even though you wasn't with her.

My daughter doesn't see her dad, and she's six now, but its his choice as he is scared of his current girlfriend.

I wish all dads wanted to see their children, afterall, they did take part in making them.

All the best.

At that age, my daughter really started to love clothes. Buy her some nice dressy clothes that she can wear to school. She will enjoy being dressed up, and will feel special knowing that it cam from you. They know about money at that age too, so putting a few dollars in the pockets should really make her happy!

With that budget I would get one "big" gift and then a bag with a few smaller gift, like educational books, and a popular kids movie.
No candy though, it's not healthy and she'll probably have cake anyway. I would get suggestions from toy stores the people there are probably most up to date with what kids like.

The Hutchinson Treasury of Stories to Read Aloud (Hardcover)
by Various, Janet Schulman (Editor)

Can be read to her until she's old enough to read it herself. A whole load of little books put into a big volume.

If you want something other than a book the box sets of Hama beads are great.

Try introducing a Hobby, Like a scrap book , Scrap-booking supplies and a camera. Or a rock polisher, Etc. Kids at this age like to learn new things and it is a good age to show them a hobby according to their interests. Good luck and Best Wishes .
