PLEASE shop around. Prices on prescription drugs varies wildly from one store to another. Walmart and Target are good. Not sure about Walgreen's. I do know that Rite-Aid has one of the highest prices. CVS is also very high. Just call around.

I have called many pharmacies and they always tell me the price of the drug without filling the prescription. It's a service provided hoping you will change to their pharmacy. Call around I find Wal-mart less expensive on some drugs, but other pharmacies cheaper on other drugs. Does your vet carry the insulin? If so it might be cheaper there.

You can call and ask them the price of the drug and they will tell you. I have done it before. You can get it cheaper somewhere else, just call around. I have saved almost $40 dollars one time by shopping for pharmacies.

Don't know about outside world, but in the Veteran's Hospital where i work all drugs are a flat rate of $51, however if you do not have insurance you only pay $8 per 30 day supply. the only thing is, you either have to be a veteran or dependent of a veteran to get that deal. I am a veteran, wounded in action, so i get free meds!

After doing some home work to ensure I was about to deal with a reputable outfit, I was very glad with the level of service, and the quality of the product I had ordered. Glad to say I will be doing business with them again and referring them to friends.

go to www.walgreens.com, search the exact name of the type of insulin you're using and the dosage.
it'll pull up a price list.
