As far as blocking them, Yahoo rules state that abuse is not aloud. The only thing you could do is report them. Check out the community guidelines. I have noticed, too, that there are a lot of racist people and people who hate those with other sexualities. I just hope that seeing other people's answers might open their eyes.

I know it is upsetting and quite hurtful when you see people asking a serious and sincere question on here and they get abusive replies. But like you so aptly say, the world is full or narrow minded people. What makes it worse is that the Internet is faceless and impersonal so these hateful people feel confident to abuse others and say things they would never say in a face to face situation. Unfortunately though, the Internet is a place where everyone is entitled to freedom of speech and have the ability to express their opinions no matter how narrow minded and hateful. Harassing or insulting other participants does violate the yahoo community guidelines and users committing such an offence are liable for a violation or for being banned if their behaviour is repeated. If you don't think what people have said is appropriate then all you need to do is click the report abuse button next to their answer. If enough people report them, they will be banned.

A lot of people are just retarded. My brother in law is gay and yes he is dying from AIDS. He was not informed that his partner was HIV +. Which is agianst the law. YOu can be put in prison for not informing your partner of any disease you may have. It is horrible that someone would actually wish AIDS on someone. I am watching my brand new brother in law die slowly and painfully from this disease that affects millions of americans each year. Besides God works in mysterious ways. Watch what you say or it may be you that turns up with AIDS and then you are just like the ones you have never met. Trust me these people on here who don't have a serious thing to say are either in full blown pms stage or have nothing better to do. THere is one story on these pages where a little boy got on his moms' login and posted stories like a 14 and 11 year old brother and sister taking baths together and hes pulling he pubic hair... Another was that a sister of the mothers' daughter died and they wanted to have her taken to taxidermist so her mom would have her forever and that they currently had her in a deep freeze at their house until they could find someone to do it..... People are problematic and mental in some cases...... need someone to talk to in person? E-mail me at lady_lucktyree@yahoo.com Any jokers will be banned and blocked from this e-mail.

You appear to be a typical liberal - all for free speech provided that you happen to agree with the content.
I suggest that instead of YA, you post comments on the national newspaper sites as these are censured and therefor fall within the proprietors' parameters.

no, they're just mean. That's all. We don't know each other so its easy to be mean. But wishing Aids on someone is pretty hateful. Not very nice. People come here for advice, truthful advice. It's always easier for someone on the outside looking in.

yeh man, gotta admit this site is full of alot of jokers, but you'll always find them and never get rid of them, just the way the world is unfortunately, would be good if a few moderators was around to keep an eye on things, but there'd have to be a hell of alot of them to monitor every single question 24 hours a day, i'm sure it wouldnt work
