Is sin that bad? I know there are some sins that hurt others. I will agree that those are infact bad. The ones I'm talking about are the ones that don't harm others, Victimless sins I guess. Why is it so bad to do things that you enjoy if it isn't harming anyone else?
There are tons of laws in this country (USA) that protect us from ourselfs, isn't that enough without the bible ruling out everything else? Atleast with the law I can have a pivate thought about doing something wrong and not go to jail. With theBible and God, If I think it, it's as bad as doing it. Does this make sense to anyone else?

well the thing is, some sin, has hidden concequences. like sure, we look at murder and go, "yeh, thats bad, thats wrong, it kills someone"......

but then you look at say, sex outside of marriage and might go "but thats fun, thats just two consenting people getting together having a good time, its not hurting anyone".... but the problem is, its hidden hurts. it causes something called "soul ties" that can just rip you apart emotionally after breaking up out of a sexually active relationship. plus there are sexually transmitted diseases that get passed on by people who sleep around and cheat. the list goes on.

God has a reason for every single one of his commandments and a reason for naming each sin for what it is. He didnt call sin "bad" for no reason, or to stop us having fun. He made us aware of what not to do so that we could live the best and most blessed life possible. He made us and knows exactly how we work, so He knows what we should and shouldnt be involved in. His heart is to prosper us and see us have an awesome life, and He knows that sin, wether we see it or not, has terrible consequenses. of course some of it doesnt look so bad.. otherwise we wouldnt want to do it would we? but
God is smarter than that. He knows what He is doing.

Of course, sin is the cause of deathhow good is that? But the Bible does NOT rule out everything, and if you only enjoy things that the Bible condemns, then you are missing out not anyone who ffollows the Bible. Fol;lowing the Bibles advice is the best way to find and enjoy true happiness. Only by following the advice in the Bible will one have a happy and fulfilled life and know real peace. Millions have proved that to themselves, as have I!

PEACE OF MIND AND GODLINESS COMES QUICKLY WHEN YOU REALIZE THAT THOUGHTS ARE JUST MADE UP TO JUDGE THE INTELLIGENCE LEVEL AT WHERE YOU'LL BE PLACED IN LIFE AND BEYOND.....WILL YOU GROW OR FADE AWAY INTO AN IGNORANCE THAT ALLOWS SIN TO BE DEFINED BY YOUR BRAIN AS IGNORANT AS THE STEALING OF A GRAPE FROM A SUPERMARKET........DO YOU FEEL GUILT OF A SUPERIOR KIND AS IF MURDER JUST SWEPT INTO ANOTHER FROM YOUR HANDS OR DO YOU PASS THE REPENT BY BY LAUGHING ABOUT GETTING AWAY WITH STEALING A GRAPE WITH GOD INSTEAD OF AT GOD......
THE BIBLE ONLY RULES OUT THE SICKNESS THAT CAN BECOME FROM THE LAZINESS AND IMPROPER CARE OF THOUGHTS.......THERE IS ALWAYS A FREEWILL TO REACH AS FAR TO ONE SIDE OR THE OTHER IN DELIBERATION OF SIN....THERE IS A TIME AND A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING AND SOMETIMES CERTAIN LEVELS OF SIN HAVE TO BE CONSIDERED IN ITS PROPER PLACES.IT IS JUST THE WAY THINGS ARE.DOES ONE DELVE INTO DISGUSTING ACTIONS FROM A PASSING SINFUL THOUGHT OR DOES ONE USE WISDOM AND LOVE IN THE DELIBERATION.WE ALL THINK IMPURE THOUGHTS......GOD UNDERSTANDS THIS HAPPENS.

The reason why God sent his son to die on the cross is so people who choose to believe in him and ask for forgivness of their mistakes will get to go to heaven after they die. If you don't believe in God or don't repent of your sins then you will go to hell (not because you are a bad person) but just because you didn't accept his death as payment for your sin.

Sin is sin. But the problem is that sin separates us from God. But God made the way for us to get forgiveness. Jesus made atonement for us.

Depends on how much you like to burn for eternity!!! Eventually we all have to answer to a power higher then the government and law officials. From the sound of your question you even believe that.

A sin is a temptation that you have given in to and one more of the trials God has sat before you that you have failed.

There are no harmless sins.
All sins are worse than you can imagine. Usually, it is always too late for man to realize it.
Just learn to know exactly what is sin and try your best to avoid it.
