Why men like women to call them more then they will call????

Dear Everyone,

Do guys like it when their girlfriend calls them – and not them much, if so why?? My boyfriend usually returns my phone calls, but, I have noticed that he wants me to call him, I just don’t want him to get a feeling that I am trying to nag him or something. Any advice on how should I play my cards right?

If the guy is 'requesting' that you be the one to initiate the call, it could be an insecurity thing. Guys don't want to look like they are chasing you around, seeking your attention.....although that's EXACTLY what they're doing by ASKING YOU TO CALL FIRST! LOL They don't realize that by asking you to make the call...they are initiating the whole thing themselves afterall!

don't analyze this, if the guy wants you to call him back then he wants you to call him back, if he turns around and says that you calling all the time makes him feel like you're nagging, tell him that he needs to stop asking you to call him.

Some great advise; generally if a guy says something thats pretty much what it means. Don't analyze things cos then you end up getting frustrated, if you find you think you are nagging then take a step back and relax. Don't do anything until you're mellow.

Well, I was recently thinking about that same question. This guy that I like barely ever call and I;m always the one calling him. I think its annoying and I don't want him to get tired of me or think I'm desperate. But to clear everything up, you should ask/tell him to call you more often because there are two people in the relationship. Let him know that you want him to show you that he's thinking about you and by calling is one way to show it. Guys are weird, but I hoped I helped.

The roles that men and women play in relationships are changing. Men like to be called by women, since it makes them feel needed and important. Women are no longer sitting at the phone waiting to be called.

The problem is that men are sometimes so busy expecting calls from women that they are not taking the time to call the women.

I would say call him as often as you like. If he tells you that he wants you to call, you can tell him that you like to be called too.

I hate the phone bullshit! If someone calls you, pick up the phone! If you've got something to say, call! If you let some time go between calls, no big deal! This is not what is important in a relationship!

If u sit back and watch who call who when and how often this relationship will never progress, if u feel the need to call your man call him dont look at the times you called ,if he is annoyed with the calls am sure he will let you know.

Men aren't women, we don't feel the need to talk about EVERYTHING.

If he is returning your phone calls then he is communicating with you. You need to learn to recognize that.

The more you talk, the less he is going to listen.

If you are looking for someone that will "chat you up" all of the time, date a girl.

Guys don't really like to talk on the phone. My guy would rather just wait and talk when we get home. You sound young, so maybe that's how you guys talk. Call him if he wants you to. If he's going to be busy, then one time, say, Hey, why don't you call me when you get a chance, okay?

I think that women in general have a greater need to talk than most men. That's not to say this is always the case. Frequently though you'll find that the woman wants to "chat" more than a man does.
