Generic Xanax or alprazalom isn't expensive 0.5mg 30 pills should be slightly less than $20.00. I have always used the generic. Can't help you on the brand name. That is without insurance.

You have learned a valuable lesson - if you have a question about medication refills, CALL YOUR PHARMACY!! Seriously, HOW WOULD WE KNOW????? And why are you paying a VERY high price for xanax? Generic xanax is dirt cheap, a month supply should cost $10 or less. I was paying about $6 for 30 tablets. Ask for generic xanax, and if it is still very expensive, find another pharmacy.

Call the pharmacy and ask them. I know that on the street they go from $1-$5 depending on what kind. There are peach, blue, then bars. Bars are the best! LoL
