Oh yes they sure are. Kids are really innocent and therefore open inded and Open Spiritually period. Hence why kids see dead loved ones more, Look up and point and smile at what seems to be nothing, or in some bad cases they see or feel evil presences first. The main thing is we all have a six sense to some degree. Its just as we grow we are told what to believe and whats socially Norm and acceptable and whats not. This starts the process of closing ourselves up to things. IN some cases are sixth sense is so active we cant run away if we try. BUt yes Kids are usually very much so receptive.

i really believe they can because as adults we're to "old" to belive in things llike that. I personally belive in that, maybe thats why the kids in my house do too. I think that they dont need to be taught to recognise it because what about monsters under the bed and in your closet. The ghost that is always outside your window. kids dont always make that up you know. I was a kid once too. LOL but when it comes to feeling presences, everyone can. YOu just have to be able to accept it in order to feel comfortable talking about it. There are many different "people" around us at any given moment on another plain of existence and yes children can sense them more because they are less preocupied by everything but sometimes, they just fell it more because, "they" are less scared of the childs reaction when trying to stick around. They know that kids will believe in them and usually try not to sacre them.
also i am not religious so i do not know if it corresponds with the bible or anything and i am not meaning to offend anyone

Hmm
I do think children see far more than we do because in my faith, theyre considered angels until they reach the age of puberty when their sins and blessings actually start to get recorded.
So theyre pure.
I remember seing weird stuff when I was a kid too...things like little green men with huge pompous hats walking on the window ledge at night. ^^ Luckily I dont see em now or else Id be classified as a serious skitzo lol
on a serious note...children are truly angels...

they could be greater attentive to issues, yet they're consistently greater ignorant to life stories whilst in comparison with adults. answer: Nope, using fact they have no foundation for what they alter into attentive to. that's no longer seeing the fact. that's being naive and ignorant. you probable had to pay attention a "particular" answer, despite the fact that it merely isn't so. i think of you're difficult -- or attempting to blend -- innocence with sparkling. A sparkling slate isn't sparkling, particularly using fact it is so malleable.

That reminds me of a cute story.
A little girl kept asking her parents if she could be alone
with her newborn baby brother. In fact, she got a little
insistant about it.
The parents were afraid she might be jealous and wanted to
hurt the child.
They finally let her be alone with him, but kept the door open
to keep a eye on them.
The little girl approached her little brother and asked, "Baby,
what is God like? I forgot!"

Says it all really, children are uneducated and in a naive state regarding the world, how could they not be so.
Christians and other 'spiritual persons' wish to retain this level of infantilism rather than confront the real world.

I believe children and the handicapped are the closest to God you can be while alive. They have not been long gone from His presence and probably still retain many memories and contacts that we no longer have as we get older and less trusting and believing.

I believe they do. My daughter (5) and I were driving yesterday and she passed by the cemetary where her grandpa is bussied...she said "mommy! Theres heaven." She said it was because that is where we go when we die. Made sence to me so I didn't correct her. LoL. Kids are precious and mentally absorbant to things like that.

kids have a pure heart
free from passions and sins
they act by their heart
not mind
cause you know,
only those who have a pure heart
can reach Lord
your child
has a pure heart
so
she is more attached to people
and feel them in her heart
even they are gone
Use your heart
Not your mind
cause mind is for the world
and heart for Heaven
Regards

kids don't over analyze things to the point where it barely exists, they're simply fascinated by the fact that it does exist and their minds are so Innocent and pure, they want to believe things. people grow up to be non believers, they are not born that way.
