It is not possible to get the flu from the shot however your body builds antibodies to the flu shot so you can get a low grade fever body aches etc from receiving the shot but it is not the flu just your bodys immune reation to the shot.

Having a sore throat is not usually a symptom of the flu (I realize that it can be, but it's rare).

The flu vaccine injects a DEAD virus into you. So you can't get the flu from the flu shot. However, if your husband had the flu (no symptoms showing yet) when he got the shot, that would explain how he got the flu (assuming he did) and perhaps passed it on to you.

Also, the flu vaccine does NOT prevent all strains of the flu. It only prevents those known at the time the vaccine was manufactured.

in spite of in case you have had a flu shot you gets the flu, it in basic terms is genuinely no longer a severe. This time of year there are various property you are able to seize. seems such as you have in basic terms a sore throat and could gargle with salt water and take some fever reducer/soreness reliever. the holiday trips tend to take a toll on us all. you would be wonderful.

You and your husband may have a virus but not from the flu shot and this illness is not the BIG FLU that you got the shots for.
