The crux of the matter is that you live in different towns. He would have given up long ago if all he wanted was sex, so yes, I'd say he really likes you. I presume all week you're both in work/school (don't know how old you are) so are both real busy. Give it a go, what have you got to lose?

I use to live far away from a guy I was seeing and we met up only on weekends because we lived miles apart. We probably had sex 2 weeks into dating. Although it was tough not seeing him through the week it was great to finally be at the weekend. Gradually he started to ask me to stay over on the Monday night as well and then that turned into a Tuesday night and so on. A few months later I moved in.
My advice is to follow your gut instinct. You would know if this guy likes you. If its early days though don't push him to commitment as it will put him off. No pressure. Just have lots of fun and enjoy his company and if something comes of it then that's great. If not then move on. If he thinks that your insecure about whether he likes you or not he wont want you as a future partner.

If you live in different towns, I see nothing wrong with wanting to meet up over the weekend. As long as you two talk during the week, I think meeting on weekends should be okay. If you don't talk during the week and he only calls on the weekend, then yes that would indicate that he's only after sex.

ummm i have just been in the same situation as you. I met this guy a year ago i was still with my ex and nothing happened. He rang and texted me constantly and when my relationship finished i meet up with him. I didn't sleep with this guy for 6 months and he texted me numerous times everyday. i finally decided last week i would sleep with him and guess what i haven't heard from him since its now clear that he only wanted sex and i actually thought he liked me so my advice is to be careful just because he hasn't pushed you to sleep with him doesn't mean he genuinely likes you i learnt the hard way
Good luck xx

If he wanted sex, he would have tried his chance the day he met you.... but you said he' s been chasing you since a year, so I guess he really likes you.
If you are considering an intimate relationship, you need to ask if your potential partner is someone you can trust, someone who is really interested in you, is attracted to you and will accept the truth of who you are.
So you have to choose between these 2 guys........

Why call only on weekends? I think if he was really into you, he'd make a few calls during the week, even if he just left messages for you. Are you sure he isn't with someone else during the week?

errr, just because you live in different towns doesn't mean that he can't phone you during the week?!!
it seems that he may like you seeing as he has kept in contact but he doesn't sound like the kind of guy to go into a relationship with!
oh, don't sleep with him either. my advice is to find another guy nearer to where you live!
