I eat waffles at imes for breakfast before I go to work. When I get to work afer about an hour my stomach is growling and Im hungry again even though I ate waffles before I left home. I end up havn to eat brekfast again. Why dont waffles last long on yor stomach?

If you are going to eat waffles, eat them with something protein based (an egg and/or a big glass of milk).

You won't be hungry then until lunch.

They are empty calories. Try whole grain waffles with a sugar free syrup instead or a bowl of oatmeal. The higher the dietary fiber, the longer you will stay full. Check the dietary fiber on everything. You want AT LEAST 2-3 g.

I'm with cndrella....Grits with butter, salt and pepper and a side of bacon and eggs will do you most of the day....fried Grits are really good too!
