Freedom is a fake state of feeling, which we are thought from the beginning of our life that we have, indicating that we have a free will with which we can decide for everything concerning our own lifes.
But in reality, we are expected to cope with the norms of our society, religion and peers. We believe we are free in our choices but actualy all we do is immitating people around us. But of course, we can be the majority just as well we can be the minority.

Freedom is being able to fully express yourself as you were created to be, with the compulsion to sin broken by Jesus' sacrifice, with the power of The Holy Spirit making us unconquerable, and with the love and support of our fellow believers. Freedom is love.

Im starting to think that True freedom is something only a few of us will ever experience, and that is, a life with no responsibilities whatsoever. I often crave it myself.

In as much as religion is a form of intellectual slavery (and yes, you Christians are included no matter what you call your "personal relationship" crap), freedom would have to mean an absence of delusional superstitionist dogma (aka - religion).

We've never been truely free
'The LORD God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it. And the LORD God commanded the man, "You are free to eat from any tree in the garden; but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die."'
Genesis 2:15-17
Nowadays, we're slaves to sin. That gives us some freedom- it means we can ignore God and don't have to try and be good. Its a pretty artificial freedom however because we're all going to die and have to give account of ourselves to God.
For us to be set free from sin, we need to die to it, as Christ died on the cross, and we need new life in God's strength, just as Christ rose from the dead. That gives us some freedom- to say no to sin and to be free to enter heaven. But we're still not fully free- we're slaves to God instead of sin.
We do the freedom to either be slaves to sin or slaves of God. The results of those options?
'The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.'
Romans 6
