met this guy who i'v fancied for years, 2 months ago and we've been texting and seen each other a few times over the 2 months he asked me out a few years ago but turned him for a good reason, but never stopped liking him but i am not sure if his that interested or just needs time after his last relationship of 3 years which ended 3 months ago, i have heard nothing from him for the last 2 weeks i have texted him once and he did reply, should i leave it or hang in there

Of course be careful of the situation, especially if it was a bad breakup . I can't tell how much that you have texted with him or just how much you know about his everyday life . Could he just be busy ? Is it possible that he didn't get your text or replied and you didn't get it ? I don't text, so I am not familiar with the procedures. Does he know of your interest ? I have found out from girls, after the fact, that they were interested in me. Had I known at the time, things could have worked out. Point is , if it's possible that he is unaware of your interest, he might be looking elsewhere for girls. I would make your interest clear, but not too clear. Don't scare him off. Once you feel confident that he knows, back off and let him take the next step. If he doesn't pursue, then at least you will know that you tried.

Just send him a friendly text to see how he is, if he doesnt reply then dont waste your time on him, but if he does then hes interested and its worth hangin in there for. If you are really that uncertain why dont you just ask him, it will put your mind at rest. xx

Ask him out for a coffee - once - then if he does not take the next step, leave it. Nothing worse like making yourself look all needy and desperate.

(in the guys part) sometimes you feel that you like the girl (you)because your at loss and need somebody but...... you'll realize that you still cant get over with her (his past)........because 3 yrs relationship cant be easilty forgotten just for 3 months...

good question, my advice, and ive had lots of experience... is keep him guessing, keeps them interested. men just LOVE the chase. as soon as that parts over they can begin to lose interest in you unless youre smart, creative, giving, funny and good in bed. but have equal respect in the relationship, dont smother him, men just hate that unless theyre needy, then ul get tired of them pretty quick. but yer, keep yourself busy, dont ever, ever, ever chase a man...theyl just keep running!!! good luck.
