The way u guys see christians act causes you to believe that there is no God, but you only look at the hipocrits but not at the true ones. Isnt it true though, is that the main reason you think there is no God, because of mistakes that Christians make?

I believe there is no god because there is no rational reason to suggest that there is. Christianity causes the difference between usual atheism, where one doesn't believe, and strong atheism, where one puts actual effort into not believing.

Atheists will sit back and not believe in a god. When Christians come along and insist that, in the face of all logic, there is a god, then atheists take a stand and say "wait, hang on, believe what you like but don't go trying to convince others until you start making sense"

Atheism isn't 'caused' by anything. In fact there is no such thing really as atheism - it is after all a lack of belief, and as such is not a 'thing'. There isn't, for example, a word for lack of belief in the tooth fairy. Or in Zog the Mysterious.

Atheism only has a name because there are so many people who believe in such a variety of deities.

The main reason *I* don't believe in God is that there is no evidence for there being such a thing. There is a great deal of evidence, however, that human beings have believed in a variety of supernatural deities since the beginning of recorded history. I don't believe in any of them, either.

There are hypocrites in all religions. Atheism is the choice of the person. I do not think people become atheists because of the way religious people act. If you think people act hypocritically, why don't you be a true one and set a good example rather than quitting belief? Everyone is accountable for their choices.

Ok before you start babbling try taking a course in the ENGLISH language... Not only do you not make any sense you sound like a babbling idiot.
Just let me clear one thing up tho. There are hypocrites in EVERY culture, religion, morality, social and gender group.
And your first opening statement the only one that is readable is absolutely absurd.

I, personally, do not believe that....

Atheism is caused by the need to be able to have concrete evidence in something that someone says is there, but cannot be seen.....

Like UFOs or ghosts.....

some just do not believe........

Urm, actually I have just as much disbelief in Hinduism and Shintoism as in Christianity. The differece is they aren't forcing their religions down my throat, Christianity as a whole is trying damn hard to though.

Sorry, but I never believed. The actions of the christians I encountered throughout my life did have a negative impact on my view of christians, but frankly, I have yet to encounter even one single convincing arguement to sway my convictions.

There is not one single human being who is born faithful. If you take a child, and throughout his developmental stages only expose him to secular learning, he will not suddenly believe in any god. The very concept of faith has to be taught.

No. We know there is no god of any kind because they simply don't exist.
Honestly, why is this so difficult for you to understand.
There isn't a single solitary shred of credible evidence to support the existence of such a being. None.
Ergo, it doesn't exist.
Understand now? Or do I need to explain it again using really small words for you?

I kinda have the same theory in my head.

I think most people whove turned atheist from christianity did so because christians were unable to bring logical support to their faith. Faith that is not logically supported is blind and devoid of intelligent thought.

For example: Man gods do not exist...so...why do we have Jesus as God and not an envoy of God?
