well firstly the best part of ttc is the sex.. have sex when ever you feel like it which for me is all the time.. also check your temps and use www.fertilityfriend.com to track it they will tell you when you are ovulating and if you even are. just have fun and enjoy it

Most doctors/ ovulation calenders will calculate a date based on information you key in. This is supposed to be the date when you'll ovulate.

Unfortunately each person is different. So accuracy can't be guaranteed. The thumb rule I've found working is a period of 5 days starting from the 12th day from your last menstrual day. So if your MC started on the 11th, it'll typically end on the 15th/ 16th. Add 12 days to it i.e 28th.

The most important part starts then....have frequent sex from the 28th for the next 4-5 days....as much as possible...but no less than once daily. Ask your partner to abstain 2-3 days prior to the 28th so as to store sperm concentrates ready for discharge. Also ask him to avoid Alcohol during sex as it works against sperm production.

It is equally important that you relax and get into the right mood for sex. Indulge in anything that fires you up.

Missionary position is the most reliable as it ensures 100% sperm collection. Remain in that position atleast 5-10 minutes after the act to allow the sperm ride upward inside you.

Finally, the act of pregnancy is beyond the understanding of humans or medical science. Have faith in God and hope for the best. Let me know if this trick works....it has worked for me and few of my close friends.

Well speaking from observations around the town here, seems to me the time most women get pregnant is 2am in the morning in a back alley or taxi after 30 Bacardi Breezers and a kebab.

Might be worth a try, seems to work for the 14 yr olds where I live.

11/10/06 or 10/11/06 , well it depends on how long your cycle is i'd say 10/25/06 for 28day cycle for 30day cycle probably saturday the 28th you'll ovulate, but I would have been trying this whole week from the 23rd to the 28th if you were trying to get pregnant. but that's just me!

I think the most reliable way is to get a digital thermometer and take your temperature every day. Make a note of it and when it gets slightly higher than it has been then you are probably ovulating and time to get down to it!
Once it's done put a large pillow under yourself and lift your legs in the air for as long as you can stand. It worked for me and got pg 1st time trying.

Well I found people who adopt a baby first, seem to be able to conceive after because they quit trying so hard. Happened to my sister in law. Relax, have sex when you feel like it and you most likely will get pregnant. Heck my sister in law did it every day between periods once and nothing. Too nervous. Now me and my wife, heck just mix the under-ware together and she got pregnant. Relax, have fun, and the baby will come are my thoughts on the matter.

Well your body will take a couple of weeks to re-line your womb before it releases an egg, so the only thing you will get in those first two weeks is a good time! After that, doing it every other day is good, as it gives your bloke a bit of time to reload ;-) Also lots of play before hand will help him mix up a good batch, if it's in and out, wham bam thank you mam, not many sperm would have made it up from his balls, so he needs to take his time!

14 days after the first day of your menstrual cycle is usually your most "fertile"....so that would be the 24th. But like was said before, trying to hard also causes stress which in turn will not help you any. Good luck.

The best chance of conceiving happens around 14 days after your last period. If unsure, do what my Dr recommended and have sex every other day around the 12th day mark (not sex with Dr lol).

Best of luck and a sprinkling of baby dust over you!!!!

Seems as if you are stressing for a baby.Stress never helps. Relax ! But if you are having difficultly , you may need to consult with your ob doctor. You may have a tipped uterus which will make it difficult to conceive. Or it could just be your partner. Good luck!
