This is called Keratosis Pilaris. It happens to a lot of people when the weather gets cool and the skin dries up. You can help by exfoliating in the shower and moisturizing moisturizing moisturizing. If it doesn't clear up see a dermatologist. Check out this site for more info.

iT sounds like it could be a number of things. What do the bumps look like, what color are they? I would see a dermatolgist to be certain that it isnt an allergic reaction or a rash. Stress can cause some types of rashes such as hives. A dermatologist should be consulted becuase certain bumps can be caused by an allergic reaction as well.

did you go in for an arm wax? or any method of hair removal that pulled out the hair from the roots? the bumps could be due to undergrowth of hair, and if exfoliated or scrubbed regularly and religiously each time you take a bath, then the problem may be solved. if not, the dermatologist is always handy!

If you are doing lots of writing work, your skin will get bumps like that. try to use full sleeve dresses to avoid direct contact with rough objects. apply hand and body lotion regularly, that will soften your skin. You may consult a Doctor,if it persists , in spite of this, after 2 to 3 weeks

HELLO...

I think I have the same problem. The best thing to do is get a body brush and exfoliate. It works wonders for me, you may need to have a couple of goes at it but should work after the second - third go.

You can buy the brushes form Body Shop for a couple of pounds.

If your on a budget use a dry flannel. Works just as well!!!

My daughter and I have the same problem. We lotion our arms and it reduces them but not completely. I've been checked for ulcers. That's not the reason. Our doctor said it's just an allergic reaction to something but I disagree because I have had this for as long as I can remember. Good Luck!
