i need to know the increase in the no of light commercial vehicles sold in the last 3 years. new and used would help. but new if both figures are not available

I need to know the increase in van sales in the uk over the last 3 years.

Contact the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT).
They are the official source of such figures in the UK.
If you need the figures for a commercial purpose, there may a charge, but if its for a non-commercial purpose (and especially for educational purposes) it may be free.
