In 10 years the number of Muslims will outnumber Christians, I just wonder how people feel about this? I mean it cant be as bad as people make out if people are flocking to it in their millions can it?
What does everyone think? Where I live in England I have to put up with all sorts of people trying to convert me, I never get Muslims knocking on my door trying to convert me and yet its numbers are rising continuously.

Wow some of you guys are really warped! Also you seem to forget Muslims revere Jesus as a holy prophet, it is not a case of Jesus vs Mohammed its a case of Jesus AND Mohammed. Also Moses.
Nice to know you have your excuses ready in advance. LMFAO!!!

well it looks like a few folk that rated your question dont like the idea much. Personally, i dont mind, it would be a refreshing change.
For the record, the reason you dont get muslims knocking at your door is because Islam is a non-convertative religion. The koran itself states that Allah would rather you were a good christian than a bad muslim. A muslims job is simply to tell others, when asked, that he/she is a muslim. information is offered and invites to mosques offered but only when asked for. Nice isint it, Christians dont understand the concept of a non-missionary religion.

I wouldn't be surprised if Islam already outnumbered Christianity in the world. It depends how the figures are added up. For instance, if Britain is counted as a Crhistian nation, perhaps it's assumed that there are 60 million Christians here. But there are actually no more than about 10 million who could be called practising or believing Christians. It doesn't sound likely that the same level of secularism could be found in Iran or Indonesia. So it is quite likely there are more Muslims than Christians in the world.

Wish it was atheists, the world would be a much better place all round...

Well, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. We'll have Universal Christlam. You'll go inside what was formerly a Christian church and find a Master Refurbished Christlamic Temple where the beatitudes on the rafters have Arabic characters and below the famed "INRI" depiction of Jesus on the far back wall behind the altar will be a statue of Muhammad whipping the first statue.

The temples' lower structure will have a rotating base so that they can face Mecca when they needs to. Nuns will have no problem with the transition because they're already dressed to the max and all they need is to add a face-covering accessory. Shouldn't be too hard.

i think of you're mixing up 2 issues. This record refers to Roman Catholics no longer the comprehensive Christianity. This rport says:- "He reported that if all Christian communities have been considered, including Orthodox churches, Anglicans and Protestants, then Christians made up 33 % of the international's inhabitants -- or approximately 2 billion human beings" in actuality Islam is an entire religon and Catholics are in basic terms a school of concept in Christians in basic terms like differant faculties of recommendations in Islam like Sunni and Shia and so on.

I live in Amish country, USA and I have never met a Muslim nor have any of my friends or relatives, but I also don't get knocks on my door by Christians either. But back to your question the Bible tells what the end of times will be like and I want to be a sheep and not a goat. Many will forsake Jesus and they will be slaughtered. I am not into religious denominations but Jesus lived and died, then rose for all of us but we are all free to chose whom we will serve this day.
I choose Jesus and stand firm regardless what the world does

You make organized religion sound like high school football. Does Islam also have the best cheerleading squad? Why should anyone care which religion has the most adherents? Should we insist that our daily newspapers carry the running totals, religion by religion, like stock quotations, so that we can always have up-to-the-minute information on whose religion is ahead? Are Confucianism, Taoism, Shintoism, and Zoroastrianism, for example, headed for extinction? If so, should we lament it, or is it simply a fact of life caused by something akin to Darwin's theory of natural selection?

Rightly or wrongly, from the outside looking in (which is the only way I ever intend to look at it), Islam appears to me to be as much a cross, if you'll pardon the expression, between and a nanny state and a social club as it is a religion, and I came to the conclusion a long time ago in the context of my own religion, Christianity, that I consider my relationship with God to be personal and private, and that I was not looking for "fellowship" as part of the bargain. And I must say that Christianity has not insisted on horning in on my relationship with God and has seemingly been content to respect my privacy and desire for solitary worship and reflection, for which I am grateful.

As I began to say, from the outside looking in Islam appears to me to be a more intrusive and coercive religion than would suit me, and so it holds no attraction for me. But then, if its adherents are content with it, God bless them, it isn't any of my business, just as my religious beliefs and practices are none of their business. I intend to keep it that way.

Well, I gotta be honest... it would suck. At present, Isalm is represented by a high level leader who recently told Australian Muslims that women who are raped or molested brought it upon themselves, that the muslim gang-rapists that were sent to prison were treated harshly and white women and men here are continually told they're evil and should be killed. Obviously that's not the muslim people that have intergrated into society and value others right to their own opinion but that's what we'd be looking at as a general culture if Islam becomes the dominating religion. I'm not real keen on it.

The Christians will probably be gutted, they try so hard! (Bless!) I dont mind that Islam is growing, I think, like you say, it must be a good thing if people are flocking to it. I just wish people could learn to live in peace and get on...It doesnt matter who you are or what you believe in as long as we love each other...

well,peace be upon you first
I think christians won't feel that bad... after all islam is a religion just like any other religion....no need to feel bitter and sorrow because any other religion's believers are more in number...maybe it will be like muslims feeling....allah is one (have no son,no wife and jesus, mohammed are his messengers) and every one is free with his own religion and has no right to humiliate others spirtualities!!

you make a good point that a lot of ppl fail to see..... look at the muslims in your own lives in your areas.... but more importantly look at the quran or the many easy to ready books and websites that are out there......

once you learn about Islam you realize that true Muslims are not bad people at all.... they're ppl with morals and beliefs just like you
