next time the next person buys till it has gone round that all were fair

Because pub tables traditionally were always round in shape. So when you bought "a round," it meant you were buying for everyone sitting around the circular shaped table.

because the tables are round and people are sitting all around the table..? I don't know but i can pull a lot of things out of my butt. We should do this again sometime.

because if you have a group of friends and you buy for them and then they buy for you it goes around or round.
