A mixture of half water half hydrogen peroxide. Fill your ear up with it...let sit 5 minutes. Then drain ear! Works wonders!! Hope this helps!

Tip 1

Grind a few holy basil leaves and extract some juice. Apply 2 drops inside the ear.

Tip 2

Boil 3 -4 cloves of garlic in some water. Mash them and add a pinch of salt. Wrap this poultice in a flannel or woolen cloth and place on the aching ear

I have found that short of going to the doctor, this does work: Take an old, clean sock, dump a couple of cups of rice into it. Tie a knot at the top of the rice, good and tight, then microwave it for a few minutes, checking periodically for temperature against your ear. Lay down on your side that doesn't have the earache, place the rice sock on your ear and allow the heat to slowly seep into it. I know it sounds very strange, and I wouldn't have tried this at all myself if it wasn't a remedy my gram's taught me. She swore by it, and now I do too.

Hope you feel better soon.

If you've had ear ache for days you best see the doc or ask the pharmacist for something. Usually warm oily water treats ear ache as my son gets excess ear wax and is often in pain.

Depends upon the cause. If it is caused by sinus pressure, then treating the cause of the sinus pressure will help alleviate the pain. An antibiotic may be in order, or you could sit it out and drink soup, water, take very warm showers, etc. You may have to put up with it if you are unwilling to see a doctor.

I used to get a lot of ear infections when I was little. I remember my mom would get a wet washcloth, very hot (as hot as you can stand it, not burning you) and lay with it on your ear, so that your aching ear is pointed down. (lay on your side). There's also drops they sell in the store, like Meijer.
