I like the answers about the bible being altered.
You see i thought that if there is only one God then there is a connection between the two.
They must have a similar goal?

It would be a good way to present how God communicates.
How can people not except Islam as an extention on God's word? After some ignaored Jesus, and surly to ignor anything else would be ignorance on the same level?

This question isn't an example of my own ideas, it is just a question to make people think, and to expand my education on relgion and sprituailty.
I hope people can learn from this, we should except all faiths

No, because Islam in the age following Mohammed tossed out the bible with scurrilous and unsupportable claims that it had been "altered."
So how can we adapt an additional book into a bible that that book's followers claim is corrupt?

The Old Testament was the original Bible until Jesus came along. He made it clear he was the Messiah prophesied in it and he was the final authority. He said many would come after him and try to preach another Gospel and we should not believe them. So the Old and New Testaments are the Bible. The Koran was the book that was written for the Muslim faith that claims to be a continuation of the Bible , but isn't. Allah is not the god of the Bible and Islam is not a continuation of the Christian faith. Islam is a totally different faith from that of the Bible by practice and belief.

Not necessary. Probably it can be used as reference material only. Stories about Moses, Abraham and the other prophets were already in books when Mohammad supposedly received stories about them from God. There are a lot ot inconsistencies in the Qur'an. The talking ants supposedly heard by KIng Solomon, it cannot be true. The words supposedly coming from Jesus "I am blessed the day I was born, the day that I die and the day I shall be raised to life again" was also attributed to Yahya or John the Baptist. I think there's a big mistake there. There are a lot more.

All Truth is Parallel.
You'll find Some Truth in About Everything.
That dosen't make it ALL Right.
My K.J.B. says (Apostle Paul, inspired of GOD Almighty) that If a man or an Angel (anyone) who Brings another Gospel (way to Salvation other than Jesus is Lord, GOD Almighty) than not to Believe him, her, Angel etc. or the book they Rode in With.
I Believe the Bible is the Inspired Word of the Living GOD Almighty.

actually i don't care about whether the coran or curan or whatever name it has gets considered as part of the bible
i just want to say to the guy that praises that book that the sole reason Islam exists today is because that guy Mohamed wanted to be a leader and started making up stories about hundreds of virgins that will have $ex with you if you die fighting the Christians...
how in the world can you be so naive... this doesn't mean i approve the Christians and their methods but at least the promises in the bible are a little more realistic and not based on $exual obsessions...

No, it should not, the bible is written in signature, meaning never changing. There are two Korans, one in Arabic and one in English. Muslim woman have to leave their place of worship if there is not room for all the males. Females are treated as second class, always. Islam hijacked the path to God because they did not like His choice of line, that of David. Why does Islam feel the need to threaten death to any Muslim who sees the truth and converts to Christianity ? Are the leaders of Islam so afraid of the truth that they have to threaten death for those who look for it?? Do Christian's live under the same threat? No! Why? because the Lord God love's us all but we have to take the right path, and that is through the Lord Jesus.

The angel Gabriel appears to Mary and tells her that she will give birth to the Son of God -- Jesus Christ. Then, about 650 years later, Gabriel appears to Muhammad and tells him that "there is no such thing as the Son of God". Now either the angel Gabriel is a prankster, or Muhammad is the liar.
Consider this also: The Bible says that Satan is a fallen angel, but the Quran says that Satan (Shaitan, Iblis) is just a "djinn that was created from smokeless fire". Now either God is lying, or Muhammad is. Did God's word change, or did Muhammad add lies to it?

If you put it that way, then the Thorah should be first, then the New Testament, followed by the Appocrapha of the Catholics, and lastly the Quran. THat would be a complete history of how God communicates with people, but it would be a cause for World War. Don't mess with people's holy books, the muslims don't, if they follow the Quran, so why should anyone else?
"God reveals himself to those he chooses." - And THAT you will find in each of those books. How you interpret it and the path you follow is up to you.
