If you mean to load music onto your computer, CD's that you have purchased, use Ashampoo.
Anything else, such as Limewire, Winmx, Bear share or any other program, could get you into trouble. I heard on the news they are cracking down on people who download music for free, because the music industry is losing money.

Don't downlad music. I know that sounds sad, but here are 2 good reasons not to: 1) you might screw up your PC 2) Its making the music industry crap - do you think that its a coincidence that only crappy mainstream indie bands get signed now since they are bound to be popular and generate money whereas skill levels of previous good bands like the Jimi Hendrix Experience and Led Zepplin have only been reached by unsigned bands which are too different to be signed? Keep downloading music and there'll be no music industry at all soon enough.

I pay for my music ...novel I know, but you dont have to worry about getting viruses with it like you do from P2P sites.
