the rule of thumb is this:

for guys, starting at 5 feet is 100lbs. for every inch above 5ft, add 5lbs. so, if i am 5'9", my ideal average weight should be (5x9=45) 145lbs. (i'm currently watching my weight at 150lbs, which makes me physically trim and within my ideal weight range. i maintain my weight with regular low fat, low carb diet and daily light exercise. i seldom take softdrinks and i don't smoke.)

for women, subtract 5 lbs from the equation to get the ideal average weight. so if you are 5 feet tall, your ideal number would be 95 lbs. now you have a figure to target.

best i can do to help you out. best wishes in your efforts, ma'am.

A simple walk around the block, or up the stairs is good excersise to keep the body moving. What most likely is happneing is since the change of your diet intake, and daily activity, your body is adjusting. Not only eat "clean" (veggies are never bad for you, fruits, and fresh pure food with low sat. fats) but also you can still work out. Do cardio every day or every other day. No need to exhaust yourself, playing with the dog, parking further away from the front door, less sugar intake, etc.
Carbs in the morning then protein throughout the day. Less carbs in the evening the better off you'll be.
As far as excercising while trying to conceive. I have attached a link or two that may also provide some useful information.

As far as "what you should be". Every person is different, here is an Army / Military "Height and Weight" standards chart. This should give you an idea what soldiers are to keep at.

I'm sorry but I don't think every 5ft girl should be 95lbs. That is WAY too skinny. Every girl is different, they are all shaped differently by genetics, etc.

I'm 5'1" and i'm around 137, I think it has more to do with weight in my boobs and butt than anything. I know a lot of people with there height and weight and you'd think they would sound really overweight but there not, there all in shape, exercise, and eat healthy and that's what really matters.

Unfortunately an extra 10 lbs really shows up for someone your height. It can be taken off by reducing your calorie intake. Cut your snack intake, drink water instead of sodas. cut your portion size at all meals. This should gradually reduce your weight.

so you said you are trying to conceive...then i wud suggest dont go for very exercises..stick to free hand exercise only...but it wud be wise if you rather check out with your physician first...and you are about 10 pounds overweight...
