No tax. I have withdrawn more than one lakh last year. My C.A said no tax on it. I have filed my returns also for last year showing the withdrawal and not paid any tax.

No tax is payable on PF withdrawal.But there is a proposal to tax withdrawals and it can be made taxable in future; may be after next years budget.However, it is also felt that the amount already deposited in PF should not be made taxable and only amounts deposited after a cut off date should be made taxable.
