Well in the short term you might want to emulate some elses opinions.
Pick a confident women you admire and respect, could be a friend or even someone from TV. When you get a bit flustered and don't know what to say, think what that person would say and say that.

honestly just tell him your find it really hard to open up, tell him you will talk when you want or can. If he like you he will understand this, if not its your choice what you do. I am also very shy and yes i find it difficult to talk about me and everything to anyone. I have managed to open up more to 2 close friends who i trust 100%+ so i understand where your coming from your are no alone.

Every one finds it hard to open up under pressure and if your boyfriend loves and respects you he shouldn't be pressurising you into telling him things you're not quite ready to tell. give yourself time and relax. You will feel like opening up more as the relationship develops.

You can't live a hypocry liife. Be free to him for this is the reality of life. Be open enough through gaining alot of courage in anything that you do. If you mean yes say yes, and if you mean no say no. get on well

give it time, you wil be more comfortable around him soon, and will tell him everything like i do!
sometimes my b/f has a go at me coz i tell him the most awful thing and he says, babe. did you have to tell me that?!
i used to be shy like you, when i was really little if someone even looked at me, i used to screm my head off, just stare at them and be screaming. i never used to talk to no one, just relax! :o)
