I have bought an ipod for my cousin who lives abroad.

Ipods now dont come with the itunes software on cd, you have to download it from the net.

However, my cousin doesnt have the internet at the moment and i wanted to burn the itunes files onto cd so he can install itunes from the cd onto his own computer.

I already have itunes installed on my own computer. How would i go about saving it to cd?

thanks

Since you have internet, you just need to download iTunes setup file again from apple.com and burn it into a CD.

Send him the disc and he'll be able to install iTunes using the setup file.

Don't try to save an installed program to CD. Just go to:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
and download the installation program (iTunesSetup.exe)
Put that on a CD and give it to cousin.

open up itunes.
select edit > preferences > MP3

also go to:

help > type in the question "burn cd" or just "cd"

Are you attempting to get this to play in a widespread DVD participant, or merely on a working laptop or pc? in case you purely choose for to play it on a working laptop or pc, that's common. merely create a records disc with regardless of application you're at present employing. merely incorporate the records you have on the disc and your pc can use it. in case you have the desire to lead them to playable on a DVD, there's a script for Linux stated as "tovid" that makes this gorgeous common. i don't be attentive to if there's a port of this to homestead windows yet.
