Maybe the arguments were getting too intens and you didn't know if you were coming or going and by her leaving it relived the presure of wondering where the next argument was going to come from and that is why you laughed not because you thought it was funny but you knew there would be no more daily stress on how to field the next argument.

Everyone's so quick to judge. Of course you loved her. Part of you was probably relieved and don't forget the emotions you go through aren't always that straight forward!! Thin line between love and hate etc. The pain may still come at any time.

Maybe you were relieved that she left and you didn't have to! Maybe you were so miserable in your marriage that the thought of her staying was making you cry----but when she left on her own accord----the sigh of relief and the overwhelming experience of happiness lead you to laugh and be joyous over her leaving .

thats the only way u know how to deal with it.
When i heard a very close friend of mine died during high school years,my first reaction was to laugh.
The same for my granny,
i had now 4 friends that have died and each time i laugh,
can u imanage how that made me feel afterwards.
you live with that guilt.
i hate it and i hate myself for it.
i loved these ppl very much.

Maybe you body was trying to prepare you for the huge divorce, mater-card, and any other bills that will be rolling in over the next couple of weeks.

Cos it just isnt love is it... I was so happy when my husband left me that i had my decree absolute laminated and used it as a place mat... xx

simple: because you didn't love her and it was good news that she left. She left probably she knew she wasn't loved anymore
