It depends on how old she is - as some perfumes smell like a teenager should be wearing them, and others smell like old ladies in nursing homes!!
A mid range, safe perfume to go for, would probably be Hugo Boss Boss Femme Spray.
Hope this helps??

Hmm - you said you "have to" get perfume for your sister.
This seems to me like she has made it clear that is what she wants from you. If that's the case my friend - get her the Anais Anais because that's what she will be wanting and expecting.
Perfume is such an individual choice that I would not ever risk buying a new fragrance for anyone - not even a close friend or relative. I would only ever buy a fragrance I knew they liked.

Personally I think Anais Anais is horrible, my Mum wears it as much as I tell her not to. What about Amor Amor or Promesse which are made by the same brand as Anais Anais?

It depends on how much you want to spend.
I personally wear Dolce & Gabbana - Feminine duering the day. About £20 a bottle.
And during the evening Jean Paul Gaultier Classique about £45 a bottle.
Both really nice perfumes. You cant go wrong.

Armani Code - still a floral fragrance but sweeter than Anais, new out this year. Every time I wear it I get complimented by both male and female.

anais anais is really light and floral so i think that gaultier and angel might be too strong altho both beuatiful - try donnak karan cashmere mist or elizabeth arden fifth avenue - gorgeus light fragrances, even CK contradiction.
otherwise, my top tip in such situations is get her the complementary range to what she wears - she's got the perfume why not get her the body lotion, shower gel etc? that way u know she will wear it and we often dont pay out for extravagances like that for ourself and use crappy shower gel. she'll feel fab using the full range.
happy shopping!!

Jean Paul Gaultier is gorgeous and it's good for a fairly young person. Channel Allure is very nice for an older person but if you don't want to spend so much, try Cerutti 1881. It's very reasonable and smells lovely!

I LOVE 212Sexy by Carolina Herrera, Cantate by Yves Rocher,So...Kiss Me and Meteorites by Guerlain. Vera Wang Princess is divine too, but very sweety, so probably not.
I think I'd recommend Anna Sui Secret Wish (Not Secret Wish Magic Romance: Not tried it) for your sis as it's not too old or young and is very light without being too sickly or grassy.
