I have had one since the first week they came out. It's a very good phone, especially when you're using it with a mail server that has wireless sync. I get my work mail directly to my phone in real time and can respond quickly. It has been beneficial many times.

The operating system is pretty cool, though there is no stylus. I was able to download a few very nice programs and Microsoft is developing windows live mobile messenger for it, which will come out shortly. There are also a number of good applications you can download and pay for. Installation of programs is easy, even without an executable.

The calendar reminder feature is great too if you're syncing with exchange. What's also nice is that if you have to master reset your phone, if you have ever used activesync with your mailserver, your contacts will come back automatically next time you sync, (which means all of your phone numbers are saved and you don't have to re-enter them!)

One of the nice features also is that you can use it as a broadband modem for your laptop. I had bought an aircard for mobile broadband, but found that I got better speeds going through the USB broadband mobile on my Q.

The only downside is that you have to pay for the data package from verizon if you get it from them. It's worth it though if you really want to unlock all of the features of the phone.

The only last thing I'll mention is that it's not immediately easy to find the UNDERSCORE key, which is something they should have fixed.

My son had 5 in 4 days and all just stopped working. It doesn't come with important software such as MS word and java. You have to download these for a large separate charge.

He has verizon and switched it for their Verizon Wireless XV6700.
