Actually, Ben Franklin came up with the idea of Day Light Saving Time. It was to benifit farmers and most importantly to save money spent on candles. Now we have electric bills which are more expensive than candles so I'm thinking about switching light sources. Anyway. There are countries AND US states that do not use DLST like Indiana, Arizona, Guam, and Puerto Rico. It is called Daylight Saving Time, NOT Daylight SavingS Time.

It is for the purpose of saving energy. Under daylight savings time, more of the business of the day (and people's habits) fall during daytime hours, when it is warmer and there is natural light, and so there is less energy used. A money-saving measure, but it also makes the summer days seem longer, which is nice.

the US has daylight savings because during WWII, the US went on daylight savings for the war effort; however, daylight savings was to expire at war's end. so during the 50's several industries lobbied congress to keep daylight savings because of the money they thought they could make by providing 1 extra hour to shop. the charcoal briquette industry was noted in providing BIG BUCKS for the approval of daylight savings. as a child, i remember my parents being angry because daylight savings passed in congress

did you comprehend sunlight hours lower price rates is said in Melbourne Australia and not in any respect in Brisbane australia (both are in similar logitudes and if the sunlight hours became to utilise suitable use of image voltaic, both might want to were utilising the settings).. rationalization for brisbane human beings not utilising sunlight hours lower price rates: - "Our cows receives at a loss for words to charm to close the milking time"... So it isn't the human beings.. it really is animals who quite word sunlight hours lower price rates. :-)
