Im looking to buy a laptop for around £500 incl VAT
Anybody got any recomendations
must be fast and good graphics

i've got an Amilo, Fujitsu by Siemens.
cost me £700 3 months ago.
so far i can't say a bad thing about it.

It really must be said that what goes inside is pretty much the same right accross the board so most of the money you are spending goes on name and after sales service if something goes wrong. I would go with Dell

for value for money you really can't beat the Dell website. All of their computers are up to date but they have so many on their website that you can choose what you want and what you don't want on it. They start from 349 for the basic "home essentials" notebook and from 549 for the "entertainment" one.

It really doesn’t matter what brand you buy because the parts inside every computer are all made the same and are the same brand, so your really just buying a name.

Go for Dell. Good machines built to your spec. and good back up service.
