I used pond algae treatment during the hot whether. Now I am lossing water at about 10cm in 24 hours

what type of liner did you use? is it pvc and how thick? it should not have harmed this type of liner.it's possible that your leak problem is not related to the algaecide treatment.maybe a gopher or some sharp object found it's way through the liner.my suggestion is to drain the pond and find the leak!

The algae treatment is not supposed to effect the lining. I would check closely and see if you can spot or feel a small leak somewhere. You may have to let the water drain out to find it--the water will stop going out when it gets down to the level of where the leak is.
