Personally, I think her lack of airplay on MTV has a lot to do it besides the fact that her singing style hasn't matured.

Okay this is the way I see it...
The american media is the blame of Janet Jackson not doing well in America...
The media and the Americans are all still not over the Superbowl happening...
I just don't understand why the media had to make it seems worse than it was... It was only a breast...
America has the BIGGEST/LARGEST P*RN industry in the whole world...
I just have one thing to say to the ones who are still not over it:
MOVE ON!!!
Personally I find the kiss between Madonna and Britney Spears (at the VMA) more offending than the breast that was showed for only a couple seconds...
MTV did "blacklist" Janet Jackson for months... There was even a petition against the BLACKLISTING going around addressed to American media...
Eventually MTV did play Janet Jackson video's again... That was about 2 weeks ago when they started to show So Excited and Call On ME...
The damage was already done... F*ck MTV for that...
o.. well... MTV SUCKS for years now... Thes last years MTV is more about real life soaps... What happened to the MUSIC in Mtv???
In Europe 20 Y.O. isn't doing that well because of lack of promotion...
Virgin isn't doing much promotion because Janet Jackson doesn't want to resign at Virgin...
So Virgin doesn't have no interest in supporting Janet Jackson...
Virgins way of thinking right now is:
No Resign? The hell with Janet Jackson...
They're all LAME if you ask me...
About her singing... Janet Jackson NEVER was and maybe NEVER will BE a great singer but she always have been and always will be an AMAZING dancer and a WONDERFUL performer!!!
At the end... I think sales will rise... Hopefully when So Excited officialy is released on October 31...
Besides that I know the WORLD TOUR is still on... Rehearsels start this December... And the tour is planned to start in March/April...
And than again SALES will rise more and more...

I think her last 3 albums were flops... She got soooooo popular for Control & Rhythm Nation that she just got LAZY after that... Personally, her career/music choices have disappointed me. She had so much more potential. But I do respect her and hold out hope.
